Difference between Single cut and Pressing

Single cut:
Only available for a limited number of copies (max. 50).

Pressing:
Available from 100 copies and up.

Single cut features:
Single cutting is a process that involves cutting the grooves directly on the disc. It is ideal for a professional production of a few copies (even just one) of your album on vinyl records. It is available for both the 12" and 7" disc formats. Unless explicitly requested, the cut is made at 33 rpm for the 12" format, and at 45 rpm for the 7" format.

Pressing features:
Pressing is the traditional method for making vinyl records. The music is first engraved on special lacquers, and following a galvanic treatment, we build the stampers (one for each side) that will be used in the presses for the final production of the records. It is available for both the 12" LP and the 7" single format. Unless otherwise specified, cutting is done at 33 rpm for the 12" format and at 45 rpm for the 7" format.

The production type will be determined automatically based on the number of copies requested.
